STEVEN BILLING (Original Story, Book, Additional Lyrics) conceived the idea of TUSK after learning much more information about the plight of the elephants. His poetry has been published in several coffee table books. He co-wrote a national television PSA, GET THE TEST and contributed to a CD compilation with composer David Salih. His current dance single, “The Walk Of Shame” was co-written with performer Rachel Panay and is about to be nationally launched.

NORMAN REA (Book, Lyrics) has spent his career developing entrepreneurial projects through his company REA PRODUCTIONS an international marketing firm with clients like Disney, Viacom, Time-Warner, Henson and many more. Rea is thrilled to be a major force in the TUSK creative team. Along with composer Bryon Sommers, Rea has collaborated on many musical projects including the cabaret revue BRING BACK THE SPIRIT. Together, they have written original songs for a multitude of New York cabaret performers. Their recent collaborations include MERRY CHRISTMAS WISHES which was featured by MAC and performed by the A Cappela Pops of Philadelphia and ALBANY, MY HOME which was commissioned by Albany Medical Center and will debut at a gala in 2005. Rea is a community activist and produces two cabaret fundraisers a year in support of meal programs for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS.
